2. What do you experience of the Holy Spirit’s speaking and leading in your every day life?

I sense His nudges in my spirit to say and to do what He wants – this happens for the most part just prior before or almost simultaneously as I live my everyday life.  Sometimes I know beforehand what to say or to do in different situations (but this is much rarer than the previous way of Him communicating to me).  Sometimes I feel like He lets me decide for myself after which He and I check the results afterwards.  [Stefan A.  Sweden]

Admonitions and heightened conscience.  [Paddy A.  New Zealand]

Here the key for me is to acknowledge Him in all of the little things. To realise that the sense of peace He gives is a safe guide in decision making. The big decisions are easy if He is involved in the little ones.

There are many times when a “thought” conversation with the Lord fills my heart with the sense of His presence and His leading.  [David R.  Ireland]

A gracious flow of growing convictions over time of who I’m to spend time with, what He is showing me, and little pokes of reminders when I am striving in my own efforts instead of resting in His . . .         [Wayne J.  USA]

As I spend time in His word, I find that the Holy Spirit speaks to me concerning Christ’s Body and His desire to see His people come into a deeper walk with Him. So much of what we prayed for as Intercessors for Zimbabwe was for the status quo to be maintained. It is not about that. It is all about the heart of God and what He wants for His people – to have a relationship with Him which goes beyond using Him as a ‘convenience store’ type of relationship, into a deep love relationship with Him Who is our Life.  [Nancy F. Zimbabwe]

I experience His guidance even in the midst of difficult situations – even in times when I am going through a crisis, not of faith, but of faith in church as I have known it in the past.  He is always there [here], even when I condemn myself for not following the crowd. He always says, “It’s OK, I love you”. He warns me to stay away from situations that could further damage my soul, and is daily healing me and renewing my faith.  [Charles M.  Cape Town]
