A traveller's notes taken on a journey of observations, thoughts and experiences to encourage others in their walk with Jesus. He is our life and in Him we live and move and have our being.
Life changing and challenging questions
We have put together some questions and used them in a Survey in order to share the experiences of other believers for mutual encouragement. You might want to ask yourself how you would respond to them or share the questions with a friend or group of people.
1. What are the keys to continuing freshness in your love relationship with the Lord Jesus?
2. What do you experience of the Holy Spirit's speaking and leading in your every day life?
3. Can you describe your everyday communication with God? Has this changed much since you
first gave your life to Christ?
4. What is worship to you these days? How does it play a part in your everyday life?
5. What is your experience of blessings and disappointments in your relationship with other believers?
6. What is your present understanding of local church life, leadership and structure?
7. What 2 or 3 things have become increasingly important to you over the period since you first trusted the Lord?
8. What 2 or 3 things have become quite unimportant / meaningless / valueless to you since God "turned your life around?"
9. At the present time, what is your main area of desire, concern or aspiration?
Hearing The Captain's voice!
Some of you might understand what I mean when I say that flying for me requires grace! Jenny and I flew to Atlanta earlier this year and as usual, just before take off my hands become sweaty and my heart seems to pump just a little faster than usual.
Jenny and I were chatting over coffee this morning and I shared with her how good it is to hear the captain's voice over the intercom system just before or after take off. His voice somehow calms my inner anxiety and enables me to relax! It is not the same if the co-pilot speaks but only the captain. You might think me kind of strange but, it is the same in my day to day life when I face difficult or challenging times. I need to hear the voice of Captain Jesus telling me not to be concerned.
How we each need to hear the inner voice of our Captain speaking to us throughout the daily experience of life! It may well be that you need to hear Him right now. He longs to make us aware of Himself.
This is your Captain speaking, 'I am your confidence!' 'Know that I am with you all of the time!' 'I love you and care about every aspect of your life'
Listen for His voice daily as He assures us of His Presence and know this is sufficient to dispel all fear and anxiety.

Religion & Spirituality
I recently read in an online journal by Kenneth A. Bryson, an article about Spiritual Welding. Although much of the article was difficult to understand as it was primarily about medical issues I did read something that caught my attention.
"What exactly is spirituality? The word comes from the Hebrew word ruah or the Greek pneuma or the Latin word spiritus meaning breath. Breath is associated with life, so literally, spirituality is 'breath of life' Spirituality is an existential (relating to existence) term. It quickens and gives life. Religion, on the other hand, is from the Latin word religare meaning 'to bind fast.' Religion and spirituality are not the same thing."

Wayne Jacobsen Visits Wimborne
Last weekend Wayne Jacobsen spent the weekend with us sharing Father’s heart and enjoying fellowship with His people. It was a very encouraging time for those who came together from far and wide with no agenda, to listen to Wayne but also to share life with others who are on this journey ‘outside the box’ more
