A DEEP KNOWING THAT HE LOVES ME

1. What are the keys to continuing freshness in your love relationship with the Lord Jesus?

Walking with Dad and His Son and the Holy Spirit every day – enjoying it like an adventure.

2. What do you experience of the Holy Spirit’s speaking and leading in your every day life?

He leads me every day in that ‘knowing’ that He puts in my heart daily, as well as in dreams, visions.

3. Can you describe your everyday communication with God? Has this changed much since you first gave your life to Christ?

It has changed – I appreciate my Dad far more and am humbled daily by His love and willingness to forgive and strengthen me.

4. What is worship to you these days? How does it play a part in your everyday life?

Honestly, I don’t know what worship is – except a deep knowing He loves me, a continued astonishment that He forgives me even as I make repeated mistakes.

5. What is your experience of blessings and disappointments in your relationship with other believers?

Huge disappointment – until I learned that I don’t ‘own’ the relationships – He does and He only holds me responsible for how I behave. I love the learning process

6. What is your present understanding of local church life, leadership and structure?

Local church: Not sure – Jesus is building the church – let’s ask Him.

Leadership: Like a life guard at a pool – only helps when you’re in trouble.

Structure: I visit you at your house – you may have invited some friends – we visit and chat and Jesus does the rest.

7. What 2 or 3 things have become increasingly important to you over the period since you first trusted in the Lord?

My relationship with Him.

Prayer – dialogue with the Person who made everything and from Whom LIFE streams forth that waters my soul.

8. At the present time, what is your main area of desire, concern or aspiration?

Enjoying more adventures with my DAD.
