My response to this had nothing to do with Islam but deep within me came these powerful words.

“The Jesus way is not a religion and Christ is not a way of life, but HE IS our very life!”

Have we not segmented Christ into pieces, divided ourselves into little sectarian groups and focussed our attention more on the externals of  salvation and become slaves to the visible. We have minimized God to our level of understanding and spectacularly worked our socks off hoping that our efforts will reveal something different to an indifferent world.

And yet, if we allow God to immerse us in His extraordinary grace we will quickly see our need for a fresh revelation of God, of His grace, of the cross and of His love for people!

That we might be ‘revived’ in our hearts and flooded again and again with fire from heaven to purify, awaken and empower us to passionate purposefulness. The Gospel is not about Christ .-  it is Christ!

“Your life is dead. Your new life, which is your real life – even though invisible to spectators – is with Christ in God…. HE IS YOUR LIFE!”
